Corey Adamo

Behind the door of a private barber suite tucked inside Arlo Scarlett Salon, Corey Adamo brings a timeless craft to life. Blending classic barbering with modern technique, a deep respect for the process, and a soundtrack that has something for everyone.

Corey began his journey in 2020 as a cosmetology apprentice, learning the fundamentals of hair design before transitioning into traditional barbering. He later apprenticed under Master Barber Sherwood “Woody” Sharp, where he honed his skills in working with all hair types and mastering the precision of straight razor shaves and traditional men’s cuts.

After a brief hiatus from the chair, Corey expanded his reach in the industry by working in real estate and as a regional brand manager for Hattori Hanzo Shears, the top shear company in the country. There, he connected with and learned from some of the most respected hair educators in the nation, including his wife Ashley, a nationally recognized cutting educator. That time deepened his expertise and sharpened his eye for the kind of scissor work that separates good from great.

Today, Corey specializes in shear-based cutting, classic and creative men’s styles, beard sculpting, and hot towel shaves. With each service tailored to the client’s unique features, head shape, and lifestyle. His appointments are intentionally unrushed, offering space for real conversation, detailed consultations, and an elevated experience from start to finish. Whether you’re getting a bold new cut or a classic clean-up, Corey’s goal is always the same: to make you feel confident, cared for, and completely at home in his chair.

Originally from Long Island, New York, and raised in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Corey now lives in Salisbury with his wife and three kids. When he’s not behind the chair or creating content in the shop, you’ll find him playing guitar, hunting for records and antique barbershop memorabilia, diving into new barbering techniques, or soaking up time with his family.
